The Romans were the most influencial to the way we do art. As history goes on they get more and more detailed in art. Today for an artist specificity is key to a master piece. The Romans also showed us the wonder of arcitecture and what it can do.
I would say the Greeks have influenced most of todays modern art because the Greeks had two ways; one being they wanted to scultp making the people very fit and proportioned, but they also were very detailed, which most artist today use large amounts of detail and expression.
I think the romans, and the Greeks influenced the world of art.
The romans started sculpture, which a lot of people use today, and the greeks started painting, which a lot of people also use.
I Think that greek art has the biggest imact on art becuase most of us draw more like them than anyone of those 3 because we dont draw in profile and not that many people make statues.
I think the Greeks have made the biggest influence on life today because if they didn't make some of the building they created some of the buildings today.
I think that the greek had the biggest infulence on art because they started using movement and emotion in their artwork, specifically their statues. Without that we would have very formalized, and in my opinion boring statues.

i think the egyptians had a greater impact on our art today because the time and detail they put in their art was very hard and i think it made us realize that if they can do it with the tecnology they had the we should too with the tecnology.
I think that the Greeks have had the greatest influence on the art world today because there art greatly impacted the outlook on art for the Romans. This influeneced the way that the Romans advanced their art to what it is today.

I think that the greatest influence on us today would be the Greeks, without the Greek art there would be no great designs, they were the first to start sculpting and creating figures to the way they want it, each sculptor looked different, with different amount of details.
To Ayla :
I agree with what you said and i think it was a great idea. Yes, without that movement the statues would have been very boring and plain.

TO Bubby:
I agree most people do draw like them rather than in profile like the Egyptians.

To Ellie:
I agree with you that most artists today focus on putting great detail and expressions into their artwork.

To Ellie:
I agree that they sculpted people very fit and proportioned.
To Kim. F:
I agree that the greeks started painting; I couldn't imagine this world without paintings.
To Shawn:
I agree that the Greeks did make a big influence on the buildings.
To Ellie:
You have a good point. The greek's are very detailed, and we do use their painting techniques.

I think I'm going to change my answer to agree with you. The egyptians really did influence our art. Although it wasn't as fluent as it is today, there was a lot of detail and time put into their art.

To Nicole:
Good point; i think it's interesting how the greek's influenced the romans.
To Shawn:
I agree.
If they didn't build the building's they did, the Greek's wouldn't know how to build one.
I think that greek art impacted us more because they were the first to show movement in their sculptures.
To Bubby:
I agree with you because not many people draw like the egyptians most draw like the greeks
TO shawn:
I agree that we wouldnt have as good buildins if they hadnt made some of theirs.
I think both the Romans and the Egyptians had very big impacts on art because they both started heavily using different metals, various colors, and intrecat detail. they were putting more detail into the emtions of the art.
